Minor Ailments Service

People are quite used to calling into the pharmacy to treat their illnesses. A visit to the doctor or walk in centre isn’t always needed, simply to get a prescription.

As part of the NHS Hull wide scheme, our pharmacy offers a pharmacy care scheme to people who don’t pay prescription charges. It means that if you or your child needs treatment, you can receive medicine on the NHS without you having to pay for it.

You do not need an appointment but you do need to be registered with a local GP.  You will also need your NHS number.

Some of the conditions we can treat under this scheme include hay fever, cold sores, head lice, acne, pain, cystitis, dandruff and thrush.

Call in and register your NHS details.

Always ask for advice. Pharmacy services are available all week and you will be referred if necessary.

We also now offer a wide range of private services to help with your health needs - see our Private Services section. These are outside of the local Minor Ailments Scheme
