Our Practice

Dispensing

We dispense NHS prescriptions and will give advice on how to get the most out of your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all prescriptions promptly.

Health Advice and Self-care

Our staff are available for advice on all medicines, minor ailments and lifestyle, in private if required. We can signpost you to other sources of advice and assistance if needed.

Smoking Cessation

We offer a smoking cessation service to support you to stop smoking.  This service includes one to one counselling sessions, advice and nicotine replacement therapy, all provided free of charge.

Minor Ailments Scheme (Pharmacy Care)

As part of the NHS Hull wide scheme we offer this service to people who are exempt from prescription charges.  No appointment is needed but your NHS number and registration with a Hull GP is required.  We can treat a number of minor ailments under this scheme, including hay fever, cold sores, head lice, acne, pain, cystitis and thrush.

New Medicine Service (NMS)

When you are prescribed a new medicine to treat a long term condition, our pharmacists will support you to use the medicine safely and to best effect.  This is service is currently only available with certain medications, although our staff are always available to help you with any enquiries you may have.

Medicines Use Reviews (MUR)

You can make an appointment with our pharmacist to discuss how you are getting on with your regular medicines. It will allow you to learn more about your medicines and ask any questions you may have, and if you are having difficulties taking your medicines our pharmacist may be able to assist.
